BACKWhat an incredible afternoon it was at our annual School Cross Country! With over 100 enthusiastic students lacing up their runners and taking part. The event was a true celebration of school spirit, perseverance, and fun. The atmosphere was filled with energy and encouragement as students challenged themselves on the course, cheered each other on, and enjoyed the outdoors.
We were also thrilled to see a number of parents there supporting from the sidelines—your cheers meant the world to the runners! A special shoutout goes to one very enthusiastic dad who even joined in for a brief run, adding to the fun and community spirit of the day.
Following our school event, 20 dedicated students went on to represent us at the Auckland Schools Cross Country Championships—on what could have been the wettest and windiest day of the year so far! Despite the challenging conditions, our runners gave it their all and showed incredible determination and grit. We’re so proud of everyone involved. A huge thank you to all students, families, staff, and volunteers who helped make both events such memorable successes!
