This Term, Rangitoto College proudly welcomes 20 new Careers Ambassadors, chosen from over 90 applicants. These students will work closely with the Careers Department to provide feedback on the Careers Programme, create resources, promote career opportunities, and support their peers throughout the year.
The Careers Ambassadors will encourage students to explore resources including Skills Builder, the StudyWorkGrow Ponder Programme, and RangiNet Careers. They will help organise and guide participation in our Pathways Evening in Term Three, as well as lead their own self-selected Careers projects.
They will also promote the Careers Hub, which now features over 140 “job spot” posters and other career resources, making careers learning accessible and engaging for all.
By taking on this role, the Careers Ambassadors aim to inspire and support their peers to discover their strengths, explore opportunities, and build the skills needed for future success. We look forward to their positive impact in the year ahead.
