BACKKia Ora Climbers! The Rangitoto Bouldering and Rock Climbing Club is proud of our member’s incredible passion for climbing this term. We have had an increase in membership and steady participation in our Tuesday group practices. Events at local climbing gyms like the ‘She Climbs’ have expanded the number of girls from the college participating in the sport. Our student leaders have done an excellent job of helping new climbers join events and competitions. Speaking of which, students have had an incredible time participating in the Auckland College Climbing Series and Boulder Bash tournaments, with members placing on the podium and higher levels of participation than any other year. We are also celebrating the student discount for our members at the local climbing gym Northern Rocks – it’s now easier than ever to participate in bouldering!
