Sign, Connect, Belong – Join the NZSL Club! Interested in learning a new way to communicate to strengthen inclusion, connection, and wellbeing? If you are keen to learn New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) for daily conversation or explore Te Reo Rotarota, the NZSL Club is your space to grow! Join our collective mahi to bring New Zealand’s third official language into daily life at school and help build a community where everyone can participate and belong.

We are a student-led, staff-supported space where you can:

  • Learn: Build confidence with the foundations of NZSL and deepen your understanding of Deaf culture.
  • Explore: Grow your signing skills as you discover the richness and expression of NZSL vocabulary
  • Connect: Make new friends in a fun, visual, and inclusive space where everyone can participate.
  • Celebrate: Take part in NZSL Week this May. 2026 marks 20 years since NZSL became an official language of New Zealand, a milestone worth honouring together.
