CPPNZ works to remove foil waste from our environment to make survival blankets to ensure every Kiwi can have a warm night's sleep.

But there’s more—our work also helps the planet. Did you know foil takes over 80 years to break down in landfill? By collecting and repurposing foil packaging from students and staff, we’re reducing waste while creating life‑saving blankets.
At Rangitoto, we gather, clean, and process foil before sending it to fusion blanket events held across the country. These blankets are then distributed to communities who need them most.
By joining CPPNZ, you’ll be part of a team that’s protecting the environment and supporting vulnerable New Zealanders. It’s hands‑on, meaningful, and a chance to see the direct impact of your efforts.
