There are two/three competitions that run throughout the year, the main one being the Auckland Schools' Petanque Tournament.

For three consecutive years, Rangitoto College has brought home the Petanque trophy for the Auckland Schools Petanque Tournament. This sport is a great way to make friends and enjoy this ever-growing sport.

Venues and transport

The Auckland petanque tournament is held at Herne Bay petanque club. Own transport required and carpooling is encouraged.

Uniform

Rangitoto blue PE tee with plain white or black shorts for competitive and own sports clothing for social.
