Bridget has been selected to perform in The Phantom of the Opera in the West End from September 2016 onwards. This has been her dream since high school, and after a very long process of several auditions she has reached this goal.

Rangitoto College Music Department hosted it's annual Piano Competition and Instrumental Competition on Sunday 7 August. There were over 30 competitors, and the event was adjudicated by Ryan Youens (composer/viola player) and Jasmine Sun (flute/piano/chamber music expert).

Madison recently competed at the annual World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles.
Emma has been awarded a $1500.00 scholarship to attend the AMDA summer school in Los Angeles or New York after performing at the Kairos Dance Convention in July.
Kenzlee Sotogi and Quinn Annemans (both Year 12 students) attended the Kairos Dance Convention at the end of Term 2.

Congratulations to all the students who competed at the DanceBrandz Auckland Regional Competitions on Saturday 25 June. Rangitoto College Magnum Troupe was placed 3rd, Magnum Company 2nd, with Georgia Chandler and Cassidy Coburn taking out 1st place with their duet.

Gemma has been selected to attend the New York University Vocal Performance Program in July. During the three week intensive workshop during students will explore the techniques of classical vocal performance from the perspective of the singing actor.
Our Megaschool Crew who were placed 7th out of the 15 schools who competed in the Street Dance NZ National Megaschool Dance Competition held at Vodafone Events Centre on Friday 29 April. Rangitoto College was the only school representing north Auckland.
Eden is a member of the Royal Family Varsity (RFV) Megacrew from The Palace Dance Studios.
Jess was awarded 2nd place in the Musical Theatre category (ages 13 to 18) at the North Shore Performing Arts Society competitions.
Gemma was awarded 3rd place in the Musical Theatre category (ages 13 to 18), and 3rd place in the Vocal Championship (ages 16 to 18) at the North Shore Performing Arts Society competitions.
