Soomin Kim was the winner in the 16-18 years category at the New Zealand Aria Awards in Rotorua. She performed six songs in total and was awarded a trophy as well as a monetary prize.

Congratulations to the Premier Boys Waterpolo Team who finished 1st at the 2014 Trans Tasman School Boys Tournament – hosted by Rangitoto College from 12-15 December. The boys played Auckland Grammar in a thrilling final and came away with an 11-4 win.

A donation page has been set up by friends to assist with supporting one of our students, Keagan Scott and his sister. They tragically lost their mother, in unfortunate circumstances last Thursday 27 November. Rangitoto College would like to help Keagan and his family.

Tai Wynyard's winning streak continues. At the Maori Sports Awards 2014, Tai was named Maori Sportsman of the Year. Tai is sharing this honour with his life long hero. Congratulatons to Tai Wynyard and his father Jason Wynard on achieving such a success.
