Coronavirus Information (updated 19 May 2020)

Date
Wednesday, 13 May 2020 - 5:00pm

There is currently no identified risk to students or to teachers and school staff.  It continues to remain that the best thing to do is to practice good preventative measures, particularly good hygiene:

  • Washing hands with soap and water for 20 seconds before and after eating as well as after attending the toilet
  • Covering coughs and sneezes with clean tissues or with an elbow
  • Putting used tissues in the bin
  • Encouraging staff and students to stay home if they are unwell

Health and Safety Guidance

This guidance, COVID-19 Alert Level 2 Operating Procedures, sets out the key principles and minimum public health requirements for COVID-19 Alert Level 2.  The core principle behind this document is to protect the health and safety of all teachers, employees, children and their parents and caregivers. This guidance is for our staff, our students and all visitors to the College.

Alert Level 2 Key Principles

  • to minimise the risk that someone gets infected in the first place
  • to ensure we can identify and contact anyone who has been in close contact with a person, if someone in a school or early learning centre is infected
  • understand that Level 2 is not business as usual
