Introduction
Rangitoto College has a proud sporting history which features numerous students who have become national champions and have triumphed for New Zealand competing at the highest levels as world champion.
The College provides over 40 different sports. Students are encouraged to participate in sport throughout their time at the College. With an extensive range of sports on offer and with a focus on long-term healthy lifestyle choices, students are pushed to unlock their potential and expand their talents.
Student participation is an important aspect of College life. Everyone is encouraged to participate in competitive as well as participatory sport. The new House System has been designed to maximise participation, and incorporates The Athletics Day, Swimming Sports Day and also the Cross Country day.
